Miami

Miami and Miami Beach, coordinated from the airport to the last dinner.

Build Your Program

Visitlandia is a receptive tour operator and destination management company for Miami, serving travel agencies, tour operators, corporate planners, and groups. We coordinate hotels, airport and seaport transfers, motorcoach and private vehicles, licensed guides, dining, and venues through one point of contact. Miami rewards a program built around geography. Miami Beach, Downtown and Brickell, the Design District and Wynwood, Coral Gables, and Coconut Grove each have their own character and their own logistics, and the water between the beach and the mainland shapes how a group moves. The Miami Beach Convention Center, renovated and expanded in 2020, offers 491,654 square feet of exhibition space across four halls and a 60,979 square foot Grand Ballroom. PortMiami calls itself the Cruise Capital of the World, which makes pre- and post-cruise programs a natural fit. Tell us the dates, the group, and the occasion, and we will build the program around them.

Planning Notes

When to Go, How to Get Around

Winter
The Everglades dry season runs December to April. Art Basel Miami Beach is scheduled for December 4 to 6, 2026 at the Miami Beach Convention Center, and February is the most popular month for visitors, so expect higher hotel and airfare prices.
Spring
The Miami Open is scheduled for March 14 to 28, 2027 at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens (dates subject to change). April and May are shoulder season with lower prices, though May beaches are busy around Memorial Day.
Summer
June brings afternoon thunderstorms, and July and August are quieter, with August the least crowded month. Miami Spice Months, in August and September, bring set-price menus to about 200 restaurants. The Atlantic hurricane season runs from June 1 to November 30.
Fall
October highs range from the mid-70s to the low 80s Fahrenheit, and stone crab season opens on October 15. November and December are busy again, with higher hotel rates.
Getting Around

Miami International Airport is about eight miles northwest of Downtown. The MIA Mover, a free people mover, connects the terminal with the Miami Intermodal Center, the rental car center, Metrorail, and Tri-Rail. Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport is about 26 miles north and is a useful second gateway.

Metrorail is an elevated line that serves the airport, Brickell, Coconut Grove, and the Vizcaya station. Metromover is a free people mover with three loops and 21 stations in Downtown and Brickell. Brightline runs from MiamiCentral in Downtown, and Tri-Rail links Miami with Fort Lauderdale and West Palm Beach.

Metrorail and Metromover do not cross to Miami Beach. Buses and the free Miami Beach Trolley serve the beach, and weekend traffic on the causeways can be heavy, so group programs on the beach side are usually planned around private coach transfers and timed departures. The Miami Beach Convention Center is about twelve miles from the airport.

Fares and schedules change, so we confirm them for the dates of each program.
