Hotels, transfers, meals, city tours and local organization for groups visiting MIT and Kendall Square.
The Massachusetts Institute of Technology is in Cambridge, on the Charles River, and was founded in 1861. The campus sits beside Kendall Square, one of the region's main technology and life-sciences districts, so many visits combine the campus with the surrounding innovation scene.
Visitlandia does not teach, sell or represent MIT programs. We manage the travel side for groups that come to Boston to visit MIT or take part in a course there: hotel, transfers, meals, city tours and local organization, with one contact for the whole stay.
Travel and event logistics for alumni groups visiting Cambridge: hotels, transfers, group dining and Kendall Square evenings. Alumni events are organized by the relevant alumni association or department, not by Visitlandia.
For participants who travel to Cambridge for a course, we manage lodging, transportation, meals and local organization. Enrollment, admission and certificates are handled by the institution that offers the program.
MIT Admissions accepts group-visit requests for student groups, which MIT confirms. We plan the trip around that visit, and add an independent walk of publicly accessible areas for adults. The independent walk is not an MIT admissions tour.
Study trips with a science, technology or design focus, including museums, public art and Kendall Square. Academic content, speakers and department or lab visits are requested separately and depend on the host institution's approval. Access is not guaranteed.
Delegation travel to Cambridge and Kendall Square. Visits to companies, labs or institutions are requested separately and depend on the host's approval. We cannot promise a specific meeting.
An illustration only. We build each day from your brief, and every visit is subject to the host institution's availability.
MIT Admissions accepts requests for groups of 6 to 50 people, at least three weeks ahead. The visits are student-led and aimed at prospective undergraduates, and do not include an information session. Availability and booking are confirmed by MIT.
Guided group visits include an AI-themed tour, an art-and-science tour on gene editing, and a collections tour called MIT Collects. Booking is required.
MIT publishes a public art map and walking tour. We turn them into an independent guided walk of areas open to visitors.
Public galleries on or near campus, open to visitors.
Visitor rules above come from each institution's published pages as of October 2026. They change, so we re-confirm them for your dates. Visitlandia manages the travel and local organization of your group. It does not offer, sell or represent any university program.
